COMMUNITY SERVICES NW DINNER FEATURES DR. DONNA BEEGLE

Community Services Northwest (CSNW), a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that serves some of Clark County’s most vulnerable residents, will hold its annual dinner at 6 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Vancouver Hilton.

This year’s event celebrates the organization’s successes and outlines the agency’s strategic plans to meet the needs of adolescents and adults, individuals and families in Clark County. CSNW is a leading provider of mental health therapy, substance abuse and gambling addiction treatment and affordable, service-enriched housing. This past year, the organization served nearly 4,000 Clark County residents.

As the featured speaker, Dr. Donna Beegle, Ed. D, will detail her rise from poverty to  prominence in the field of communications, with a focus on helping professionals who work with people in poverty. Dr. Beegle has written articles which provide insights and strategies for communicating more effectively with diverse races, classes, genders and generations.
